Lantern 2013

Let's call it what it is.  People walking by and tentative fire hazards.

There honestly was no plan to go to the lantern parade, but Pat had to, and I just needed an excuse to go out and photograph something that could move on its own.  Lantern Parade seemed like my best bet.  Lo and behold, it was.  More importantly though, it was a tragic bore.

Oh and Pat made cupcakes after lunch, before the parade.

We met with Sheky and VJ before heading to UP, post my cupcake accident.

UP, I think does not, and will never change.  The people do.

Here's sheky eating corn while waiting for the parade to start.

We ended up sitting on the hill by the tennis court.  Sheky, was done with the corn I think.  We moved on to ice cream and Yakult.

We couldn't, for the life of us, find someone who sold this adorable floating pig which you could walk around campus.  Until it's air got heavy and it would die a slow, lonely, painful and irreparable death.

Like last year, except, yeah.

We just sat down, and tried to take photos.

This little girl had so much cool stuff, we wanted to rob her.  We didn't.

Then Gel came along.

and Sarah too.

and the darkness overwhelmed us at Kazam.  DO NOT EAT THERE.  SERVICE IS TERRIBLE.
