Things You Cannot Have | A Wedding, Far, Far, Away

I covered my first wedding almost a week back.  It was exhausting to say the least, but somehow, it wasn't as fulfilling as I had hoped it would be.  Maybe it's just since I didn't have help.  Maybe it could have just been the weather.  Or that I'm really not into weddings just yet.

I was there from prep to relative finish.  Relative is the keyword here.  Long sleeves and a tie in an un-airconditioned venue is a bad idea when running around with 3 lenses, a monopod, a flash, and one body. :|

They were increasingly fun as the ceremony and the evening progressed.  Wild things, care of wild people.  Parents included. :)

Thank you to the couple who got me as a secondary photographer to a team of 6.  Thank you to Detsi for suggesting me.  Thank you, more than anything, for the opportunity to learn, and do what I love.

Now, time to wait for that Starbucks Manger to call for my interview. :))

Oh and check out all the other photos at: http://rexandjoy.blogspot.com

Cheers!
