Early this month, I received an email from my mentor and friend, Jeff, to see Former Chief Justice Art Panganiban's Bio-Musicale: Ageless Passion. He wrote the originals for the musical and they were composed/arranged/something-ed by Mr. Ryan Cayabyab (SP?) Yeah, I'm not cultured. HAHAHA. Hi Tonton.
We hadn't seen Jeff in a long time, although, not entirely surprising since he's always disappearing and popping up left and right anyway. So We kind of all came in early (READ: 2-3 hours early). We met up at Galleria and decided to walk to Meralco Theater at around 4-4:30. Tonton came in around 2. Janine followed around 3:30. Sakto lang. :))
Discussion on what Bar Chow meant and our eventual decision to say: it means food. Photos, Photos and more photos.
Until of course, the people started to come in. Celebrities left and right plus friends and family is what we had in mind. Of course, we were wrong. We brushed elbows with people who made powerful people powerful -- in short -- we brushed elbows with power. Or at least thats what I picked up from Tonton, since, again, I'm not cultured. HAHAHA.

Look! It's Oyie! he came in at around 6pm, they were serving drinks, and the important people flood had not stopped.
For example, for the invocation, CJ's dear friend Archbishop Tagle was present.
Of course, the cultural ignoramus that I am did not photograph almost any of them. Up until I realized, well, they own probably the entire Manila by hook or by crook. Still, HAHA.
Jeff emerged from somewhere and of course, the mandatory catching up commenced.
After the play, closing remarks were given, acknowledgments to the VIPs were given, among other things, and then, Vice-President Binay came up on stage, on cue, to deliver some words.
And then, photographs were clicking at the lobby after the musical. Of course.
Happy Birthday CJ! :D
While in Meralco, photograph Liwanag Park. It only comes alive during Christmas after all.
We decided to have dinner at Next Door (North Park) at Home Depot. More Catching up, and NaiCHA!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D
Because this set of photographs is loads interesting, I'm making one other post just for it. So here's the cover in the mean time. :)) Photobombing is the bomb. HAHAHA
